Closed Beta Testing of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty Begins

Blizzard Entertainment, the premier developer and publisher of entertainment software that acclaimed many popular games such as World of Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo, has announced that the closed beta test for its upcoming real-time strategy game, StarCraft II – Wings of Liberty has begun.

Thousands of invitations have been to gamers worldwide and amongst them, many lucky gamers will get a chance to test the beta version of this game and have a first look at Battle.net service, an online mutli-player feature of Blizzard Entertainment games. These gamers will test drive the StarCraft II and provide feedback regarding the multi-player balance of the application.

Don’t get disappointed if you are not selected for testing the new game, you can send your feedback to Blizzard and you have to do is to install the game and play as well as test it. In order to install StarCraft II Beta, you would require a system featuring Windows XP SP3 or higher with a 2.2GHz Pentium 4 or equivalent AMD processor. Your System should also possess 1GB to 1.5GB of RAM depending on the OS, a 128MB Nvidia GeForce 6600GT or ATI Radeon 9800 Pro and a minimum display resolution of 1024×768. StarCraft II Beta requires 4GB of free storage to be installed in your system and having a Broadband Internet connection would help you enjoy the new Battle.net feature too.
