Viewsonic has launched four new media devices aimed at enabling consumers to create and connect to 3D and 2D content wherever they are – including the 3DV5, 3DPF8, 3DVP5 and DPF8-CAM. Let’s head straight to the latest offerings:

3DV5 Pocket 3D HD Camcorder

The 3DV5 Pocket 3D HD Camcorder enables users to capture 3D and standard 2D videos and view the live 3D content on a 2.4-inch 3D LCD glasses-less panel. It doesn’t end there. The user can then play back the content, instantly, on a standard PC/notebook by wearing the red/cyan glasses that are included with the 3DV5. Consumers can also enjoy 3D content on NVIDIA 3D monitors with NVIDIA’s 3D Vision Kit and on 3D HDTVs with their specific glasses.

The device displays 3D photos and videos. No, you don’t need glasses. The frame is also capable of automatically converting standard 2D photos and videos to 3D.
