Buffalo has introduced two new hard drives that add to its range of direct attach storage solutions. Both the drives have been created keeping in mind the storage needs of today’s customer. The drives carry a distinct characteristic of sleekness.

The first one, the MiniStation Stealth, is a compact and portable lightweight hard drive that promises high performance while on the go. Staying true to its name it relies on just one USB cable for its data and power needs, which also considerably reduces its radar signature. Just plug it into your computer and it charges while you put on it all the data you need when you are on the move. The MiniStation Stealth is already in the market and is available in 3 storage capacities at the following estimated prices:

  • 320 GB (HD-PCT320U2/B) for $74.99
  • 500 GB (HD-PCT500U2/B) for $89.99
  • 640 GB (HD-PCT640US/B) for $104.99

The second is the DriveStation Axis LED which is a larger external drive as compared to the MiniStation. It comes with a unique capacity meter display that allows the user to get an estimate of remaining storage space on the drive at quick glance. The sleek and unique chassis of this drive allows the user to keep it vertically or horizontally hence making it much more adaptable to available space. The DriveStation Axis LED will be available in January 2011 in 2 storage capacities at the following estimated prices:

  • 1 TB (HD-LEM1.0TU2) for 99.99
  • 2 TB (HD-LEM2.0TU2) for 159.99

Both the devices will come with a year’s warranty and round the clock 24/7 technical support. The products may be bought from Buffalo’s e-commerce website, online resells or from designated distributors.
