HP Launches G Series Energy Efficient Notebook PCs – G42 and G62 Powered by Intel Core i3 or Core i5

HP has introduced a new range of consumer notebook PCs, the HP G Series, which includes the G42 and G62 devices. The devices are being touted as productivity tools that accomplish their daily tasks and also enable a multimedia experience. The new series come in trendy, color variations including charcoal Grey, velvet red & imperial blue HP Imprint finishes.

Touting under 1.24-inch thickness, the laptops weigh around 2.2kg and feature a full-size, ergonomic pocket-style keyboard with flush touchpad. Other notable features include up to 750 GB (only for the HP G62 model) storage; HP imprint finish for ‘fingerprint-less’ design, built-in webcam and audio speakers powered by Altec Lansing. The models are energy efficient, environment-friendly and are EPEAT registered at the Silver level.

The integrated 6-cell battery renders upto 5.5 hours of battery life. The G series employs Intel Core i3 or Core i5 Processors facilitating productivity on the go. The HP G Series is expected to be available across India soon with a starting price of Rs. 34,500, excluding taxes.
