The new iPod Touch 4G is more sleeker and includes much advanced features and specifications compared to the 3G version. The iPod Touch 4G is almost the iPhone 4 with no Phone.

iPod Touch 4G includes built-in speaker and microphone which aren’t present in 3G. With support for 1024 by 768 pixels with Dock Connector to VGA Adapter, iPod Touch 4G stands ahead of iPod Touch 3G that supports 480P and 576P component TV out. Battery Life of iPod Touch 4G is also extended by nearly 10 hours for music playback and 1 hour for video player than that of iPod Touch 3G. iPod Touch 4G enables users to configure maximum volume limit which can not be done in the iPod Touch 3G.

These specs indicate that Apple is constantly working upon improvising its Next Gen iPod Touch, now we have to see whether this next-gen iPod Touch would really attract as many consumers as its ascendant did!
