Now, technology has certainly moved on and it’s time for an update of Nikon D3. Yes! It’s time to have Nikon D3S. Nikon Corporation is delighted to introduce its newest FX-format digital SLR flagship with quick reactive and high light sensitivity – the Nikon D3S. Not like D3, it is completely new with many exciting features in it. Nikon points that the D3S is not so much a quantum leap, instead a refinement of a tested and proved model. Accordingly many of the changes are of an elusive nature but there are few highlighting and essential improvements such as 720p / 24fps HD video mode and a new Hi3 extended sensitivity setting which allows to capture the stills and movie at a whopping ISO 102,400.
