RIM to Announce BlackBerry Tablet, Storm 3 and a New OS at Developers Conference, San Francisco

RIM, the Research In Motion Ltd might very soon unveil its BlackBerry Tablet along with its new OS and Storm 3. Rumored to be announced in the BlackBerry Developers conference, which would be held in San Francisco, BlackBerry Tablet aka BlackPad to be the next tough competitor to Apple iPad.

As per the information obtained from trusted resources, RIM’s yet to announce tablet will be manufactured by Quanta Computer Inc. of Taiwan, and will run on chips from Santa Clara, Calif.-based Marvell Technology Group Inc. Running on the new OS developed by QNX software, BlackBerry Tablet will feature a seven-inch touch screen and one or two built-in cameras. Experts and technicians who worked upon QNX operating systems, say that transition of BlackBerry to the QNX operating system definitely makes BlackBerry Tablet stand out of the crowd, we have to wait and see, whether it really does!

Along with the Tablet, reports indicate RIM to unveil its upcoming devices – the BlackBerry Storm 3 which will feature BlackBerry’s new OS in this event. Rumors abound that RIM might announce new advertising service using Mobclix, which if true is certainly a delight to all the RIM admirers. RIM might also demonstrate updated BlackBerry mobile advertising platform and Amazon.com Inc. music application in the Dev Conference.
