The Toshiba Tablet Website Mocks at iOS Devices For Lack of Flash Playback

We have already see that Toshiba is planning to launch their Android Tablet this Summer. The NVIDIA Tegra 2 based Toshiba Android Tablet features the latest Android Honeycomb; 10.1″ capacitive multi-touch screen; 1280×800 pixel resolution with HD (720p) playback; 16:10 aspect ratio; 2.0MP front facing webcam; 5.0MP rear camera with autofocus; Wi-Fi access to all of the web including Flash; replaceable battery; USB, mini-USB, full HDMI, SD slot, a docking port, and a headphone jack. Now Toshiba has launched a new website to show case it’s upcoming Android Tablet. The notable thing about the website is that Toshiba aimed it at Apple iDevices that lack the ability to playback Flash content.

The Toshiba Tablet website is made using Flash and when loaded on iOS devices it shows – “Such a shame. Add this to the list of interesting places on the Internet you can’t see on your device. Of course, if you had a Toshiba Tablet, you would enjoy the entire Internet. Yep, Flash sites too”. This clearly indicates that the site is specially made to aim iDevices.

Apart from all the above, Toshiba Tablet website also mentions some of the features of their Android tablet. One of the notable features is the Style. The Android Tablet comes with slip-resistant, EasyGrip backs and in multiple colors. The other features include Honeycomb version of Android which is specially designed for Tablets, stereo speakers with SRS audio enhancement, Resolution+ Video Enhancement Technology that upscales standard video to look more like HD and support for SD cards.
