Toshiba Updates Satellite A, C, M and L-Series Notebooks; Ships 3D Model of A665

Toshiba has now launched the new satellite notebook PC which includes 16 inch Satellite A665 and 14 inch Satellite M645. In L series you can find four models with 13-inch L635, 14-inch L645, 15.6-inch L655 and 17.3-inch L675. With the help of NVIDIA’s Optimus technology you can equip chipsets to A665 and M645 for offloading graphics to the CPU or to GPU. This is based on the amount work involved.

Toshiba Fusion X2 finish is used to cover this device, which has a textured surface and it is fingerprints resistant. Sleep and charge USB ports are existing in both models and they have introduced “Sleep and Music” a new feature where the user can plug the music player in a powered off notebook’s microphone jack and play music via its harman/kardon speakers. For scaling SD movies to HD quality they have come up with a feature known as Resolution+ DVD upconversion.

Intel Core i3, Corei5 and Core i7 chips can be used with both the models accompanied with latest AMD Phenom II Quad Core processors. The upgraded models can be equipped with 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 310M or 1GB GeForce GT 330M graphics processors. Some of other features are slot-loading DVD,Blu-ray Drives and WiMAX. You can get the Satellite A665 starting from $800 and Satellite M645 at $730. Toshiba also offers 3D version of A665 which will hit the market on June 20th.

Intel Core i3, Core i5, AMD Athlon II, Turion II dual-core, Phenom II Triple Core and Quad Core processors are used to run the latest satellite L600 series note books. An ATI mobility Radeon 5145 GPU is received on all the models though not standard. The screens can deliver 720p resolution. The range of the hard disk is from 250GB to 500GB and to protect data this can be had with impact sensors. The colors options are many such as grey, black, red, white and brown. Each color grants a distinct look to the model. Satellite L635 cost starts from $620, Cost of Satellite L645 is $516, the Satellite L655 cost $570 and the Satellite L675 cost $600. These all appear in market on June 20th.

The C600 series also existing in 14inch and 15.6 inch boasts 720p resolution. They are powered using Intel Celeron or Pentium or AMD Athlon V120 CPU. They also have integrated Wi-Fi, DVD multi- drives and 250GB or 320 GB hard drives. The cost begins from $450.
