Trendnet Releases 300Mbps Wireless N Media Bridge, TEW-640MB; Comes with MIMO Antenna Technology

Trendnet, a wired and wireless networking hardware brand, has launched the 300Mbps Wireless N Media Bridge, model TEW-640MB. The 300Mbps model is aimed at providing a “high performance wireless connection for all networked media center devices”.

The bridge has been designed to cut the clutter, allowing users to connect up to four devices to a wireless n network; and is compatible with Ethernet-ready Blu-ray players, network TVs, gaming consoles and DVRs. Setting up the brigde is not complicated. And if you have a router with a WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button, setting up can be simpler. All you would require to do is:

  • Power up the TEW-640MB
  • Press the WPS button on your router, then the WPS button on the TEW-640MB
  • It will get connected to your router and the internet.
  • Lastly, network media center devices to the four Ethernet ports on the back of the TEW-640MB for instant internet access.

The bridge comes with Advanced Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) antenna technology to do away with wireless dead spots and WMM Quality of Service (QoS) technology to prioritize audio and video content.

The TEW-640MB is priced at $69.99 and is shipping to Trendnet’s online and retail partners with a three year limited warranty.
