US Cellular Offers Holiday Shoppers Great Deals on Android Devices Ahead of Black Friday

Planning to go bargain hunting this Thanksgiving? Then this is something you should read. US Cellular is rewarding holiday shoppers with with deals on some of the hottest phones four days before the busiest shopping weekend of the year. Starting November 22, US Cellular’s Android Sale will slash prices on its lineup of Android smartphones, including the Samsung Mesmerize (a Galaxy S phone), Samsung Acclaim, HTC Desire and LG Apex.

The company has informed that from November 22-29, both the LG Apex and Samsung Acclaim will be free after an $80 mail-in rebate. LG Apex has a functional design and offers a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The Acclaim is equipped with a 3.2-inch touch screen and also comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It has a 3.0 megapixel camera and camcorder.

Also during the sale, the Samsung Mesmerize, a Galaxy S phone, will be available for $99.99 after an $80 mail-in-rebate. The Android-powered Mesmerize features a brilliant 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen. Finally, customers can get the HTC Desire smartphone for $49.99 after an $80 mail-in-rebate. The Desire delivers a 5-megapixel, autofocus camera with flash, integrated GPS and is Wi-Fi capable.

In related news, the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab landed in US Cellular stores on November 19. The mobile tablet is retailing for $399 after a $100 mail-in rebate and two-year contract. The Galaxy Tab’s 7-inch touchscreen enables PC-like web browsing. It comes with a 1 GHz processor in its guts and comes loaded with with Samsung’s Media Hub that optimizes movies and TV shows and can also be a convenient e-reader with free downloadable applications from Kindle and Nook.
