Amazon released an update for its Kindle application designed for Apple’s iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. For those new to Kindle App, it is an application from Amazon that allows iPhone, iPad and iPod users rejoice reading Kindle books on their handsets.

Updated version of the Kindle App provides bigger font sizes, easy and quick navigation with capabilities to look up words in Google and Wikipedia along with many other features. Providing beautiful and easy-to-use interface, Kindle app enables iPhone users to access more than 540,000 books in the Kindle store including the latest best sellers and new releases. Kindle App makes reading books much effective even on your Mac, PC, BlackBerry, Kindle and Kindle DX.

New features in Updated Kindle App

  • Navigation between home and archived items on iPad is made much easier and faster
  • Capabilities to search inside the book (available for iPhone only)

Rumors indicate that Amazon is also setting to release another version of Amazon Kindle app with many enhanced features included.
