For all game enthusiasts, Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that EA SPORTS FIFA Soccer 11 is now available in stores throughout North America, Europe and Asia. FIFA Soccer 11 has been tagged as EA’s most popular sports videogame. It has been localized into 18 languages and is available in 51 countries. The company noted that starting October 4, FIFA Soccer 11 for Wii will be available throughout North America, and a version for Nintendo DS will be available throughout Europe and Asia on October 8.

What the game is about: FIFA Soccer 11 essentially “reinvents player authenticity, on and off the ball, with new Personality+, a feature that sees individual abilities reflected in game, enabling clear differentiation for every player. The game allows players to experience man-to-man interactions with 360° Fight for Possession. So, from lateral jostling to full 360° collisions, the player gets a taste of it all. Players will also enjoy the Pro Passing features, where pass accuracy is determined by a gamer’s ability on the control pad, and this can be improved upon with skill and urgency on the pitch.

FIFA enthusiasts can subscribe to the My Live Season premium service for gaming on Xbox 360 and PS3. A subscriber will have to shell out $4.99 for the ongoing season on PlayStation Network and 400 points on Xbox Live Marketplace for each individual league. Alternatively, they may opt for a comprehensive package of all leagues, priced at $9.99, for the ongoing season on PlayStation Network and 800 points on Xbox Live Marketplace.

The My Live Season premium service features weekly updates enabling players them to receive dynamic updates of real-world information, including player form, transfers, injuries, fixtures, suspensions, results and league standings for Barclay’s Premier League, La Liga BBVA, Ligue 1, Bundesliga and Serie A.

FIFA Soccer 11 is rated ‘E’ for Everyone by the ESRB and 3+ by PEGI in Europe. The title will be available for the PlayStation 3 (PS3), Xbox 360, Wii, PC, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PSP (PlayStation Portable), iPhone and iPod touch.
