Mafia II, the sequel of the popular sandbox-style action-adventure video game Mafia has been announced. Developed by 2K Czech (earlier Illusion Softworks) and published by 2K Games, trailer of Mafia II has been released and the game is expected to be available in the stores from 27th of August.

Mafia II trailer shows action packed Italian gangster from Sicily in the 1940s, who messes up with a lot of illegal actions for the mafia family along with interesting robberies, paying off cops, getting rid of bodies and famous shoot outs and many more. Immersing players in the fictitious underworld throng of late 1940s and early 1950s scenario, Mafia II includes awe-striking graphics and sound effects that provide cinematic Hollywood movie experience. As a plan to introduce this sensational game to all the gamers worldwide, 2K Games is set to make the demo version of this amazing game available from next week. Costing around $49.99, 2K Games’s Mafia II full version will be available will be retailed in stores from August 27 for PS3, 360 and PC.
