Napster has launched its new music application for iDevices. Compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, the app runs on iPhone OS 3.0 or later; and gives users access to over 10 million full-length songs, including new releases and old favorites for a price of $10 a month.

The app allows users to save songs, playlists, and albums to their iPhone to enjoy when not connected and listen while they run other apps. The company added, “Napster can also be enjoyed on any connected computer, compatible TV, Blu-ray player or other compatible home audio product”. Users can create their own playlists, recommendations, and Billboard charts dating back to 1955. They can save up to 100 songs played, and even ‘Automix’ a favorite song to create an instant playlist blending similar artists.

To draw users to the app, the company has also announced a free trial and a 20% discount if a user opts for the Napster plus mobile access annual plan. This service, however, is available to US residents only. We don’t have details on the app’s voice quality and such like. But if you are a music buff and want the power to stream free music everywhere, this app may come in handy.
