Microsoft has unveiled new features being implemented in its Office for Mac 2011 through its third video amongst the four-part behind the scenes series. Highlighting Office 2011, this video depicts the newly added features that would take Office to the next level.

Office for Mac 2011 will include co-authoring tools that lets you simultaneously edit the same word document, Power-point slide shows, and Excel sheets conveniently even from different locations. Added Integration with Office Web applications, Office 2011 for Mac allows you to get things done virtually from any computer with Internet connection.

Office for Mac 2011 also improvises the Scheduling Assistant of Outlook, this enhanced version is capable of providing you calendar in-line with your mails, thus allowing you to organize and schedule work more efficiently. The in-built Exchange user allows you to view the shared calendar details of your co-workers as well. Implementing Broadcast Slide show feature in the PowerPoint, Office 2011 brings in great cross-platform capabilities to the users. Office for Mac 2011 also has a provision of storing the documents along with the Sharepoint in the cloud using SkyDrive, thus making it more flexible for consumers and business users whilst accessing them.
