Rounding out its line-up of multimedia mobile phones, Micromax has launched the Pike X510. At the heart of the phone is a MediaTek wireless communication chipset that supports all system specifications and features of a modern multimedia phone. In fact, the chipset reportedly runs on a high frequency with an ARM-based technology at its core, enabling a host of functions like Bluetooth and EDGE.

In terms of features, the phone has most of the regular specifications that most other multimedia handsets in the market come with. The positives include a full touch 240×400 pixel high resolution screen, widgets for social networking and an expandable memory card support (up to 16 GB). Other details include:

  • Supports for all high resolution video formats.
  • User-friendly interface for easier navigation.
  • 2 Megapixel camera.
  • FM radio
  • Bluetooth connectivity

Like most of Micromax handsets, this one too promises to be value-for-money. Available across India for Rs. 5,499, the phone comes in five customizable colors including a black variation and the more funky red, silver, orange and yellow.
