Samsung has announced a new NF310 netbook for use at home, in the office, or on-the-go. With an Intel Atom N550 Dual-Core processor in its guts and an HD LED backlit display, the NF310 comes with a smooth, contoured clamshell exterior in Titan Silver color. It includes a spill-resistant keyboard and touchpad with gesture support. It also features Samsung’s Fast Start functionality that allows the user to put the netbook in an advanced state of sleep, thus reducing power consumption while the device is not in use. The company claims the user’s session can then be restored in as little as 3 seconds.

The NF310 also boasts Samsung’s USB Sleep & Charge technologies that allow users to connect and charge cell phones, MP3 players or other USB-powered device even while the NF310 is powered off. To ensure your data is safe and troubleshoot problems, the device comes with the company’s Back-up & Recovery solution besides help from its dedicated support center.

Weighing 2.87 lbs, the NF310 can connect PC-to-PC over ad-hoc Wi-fi connections. An AllShare feature allows users to share and play videos, photos, and music across a range of Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) certified devices, including TVs, cameras and handsets.

Samsung NF310 Features

  • Intel AtomTM N550 Dual-Core processor
  • Windows 7 Starter

  • 250GB hard drive
  • 10.1-inch HD LED backlit display
  • 1366 x 768 resolution
  • 3 W Stereo Speaker (1.5 W x 2)
