Acer Aspire One AO721 and Aspire One AO521 Netbooks Feature AMD Athlon II Neo Processors

Aspire One AO721 and Aspire One AO521 are the two Netbooks launched by Acer which have got new looks and are powered by new AMD Athlon II K125 Neo Processor. They use ATI Radeon HD 4225 GPU, 384MB of memory (for the GPU), and Windows 7 Home Premium and both are designed to offer HD video playback.

AO521 is 10.1 inches which is smaller than the AO721, and consist of 93% full size keyboard, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 250 GB hard drive. This model comes in two colors including Black and Brown. Other specs are 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Ethernet LAN and a built-in digital microphone, Webcam, Bluetooth and Windows 7 starter. All this comes to you at $349.99.

The other model AO721 sized 11.6” offers the largest screen in Acer Netbook and consist of Crystal bite LED backlit display. Further this model has black matte and meshes textured cover to avoid fingerprints and has 2GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD. AO721 is less than an inch thick and posses full size keyboard, which is not usually found on a Netbook. This 3lbs weighed machine is available for $429.99.

Multi-Gesture touchpad feature which is found in both the models, lets the users to have a smooth navigation in the touchpad where they can do anything like scrolling, flip through pages, photos, spreadsheets, zoom in and out and lots more. Acer Aspire Models hit the market with a standard one year parts and labor warranty and it can be further extended to three years with the Acer advantage service.
