Dell Inspiron Zino HD – AMD Athlon and ATI Radeon Based Computer System

One of the world’s leading vendors of personal computer systems Dell, has officially unveiled its mini-sized Inspiron Zino HD, an ultra compact and energy-efficient desktop computer system for basic home appliances. A stylish and functional new compact computer by Dell called Zine HD resembles a bit like Mac Mini, measuring nearly 8 inches on each side, all black aside from the top view is available in different myriad colors.

Zine HD Runs on Windows 7, Vista or Ubuntu with a variety of AMD Athlon processors (Dual Core and Single Core) included in it. With 8 GB of RAM, up to 1 TB of disk space, ATI Radeon HD 4330 graphics processor, either a DVD or Blu-ray drive and a support to output to an HDTV via the HDMI port, the Dell’s new Zine HD is a possible competitor for other NVIDIA Ion-based solutions.


Zine HD could be the computer of choice for setting up any home theater for easily accessing all your favorite videos on your computer. Pairing it with Boxee, Hulu, Netflix and iTunes, will enable you to view everything on your HDTV. At very affordable prices, Zine HD is best choice for college students who does not do a whole lot of PC gaming or even for those want to use Internet on TV without having to use the klutzy Wii or PS3 interfaces.

With a starting price tag of US $229, the Zino HD will be shipping on November 26. The entry-level configuration comes with no DVD drive, while a higher-end solution, with Blu-ray and fastest CPU option will go for US $929.
