NEC Unveils EX Series Desktop Displays; First Model, a 23-inch MultiSync EX231W, To Ship in November

NEC recently introduced its EX series range of desktop displays, which combine an ultra-slim design with some noteworthy features such as a human sensor and LED backlight technology. The series is equipped with a DisplayPort and packs some connectivity and ergonomic benefits. The company introduced the first model in the new range called ‘Office Cool’ to the market in the shape of its MultiSync EX231W. The 23-inch MultiSync EX231W, features a 14.6mm slim bezel, weighs 9.3lbs with stand, and comes with a USB pass-through on the top of the monitor for quick connection to a webcam or flash drive.

The model comes with a fully-adjustable stand with 110mm height adjust, pivot, swivel and tilt, as well as a built-in carrying handle and quick release stand, suitable for financial applications where multiple monitors are tiled. The monitor’s ambient light sensor detects external light sources and adjusts the display’s brightness accordingly, while its carbon savings meter calculates the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
