Samsung GT-B3710 LTE USB 4G Modem For TeliaSonera With Speeds Upto 100Mbps

After the success of Samsung’s first USB-based 4G modems for TeliaSonera released in last December, Samsung is now set to enthrall every one its new LTE USB dongle. Samsung announced the sales of GT-B3730, a LTE USB dongle that takes the advantage TeliaSonera’s newest LTE network in order to deliver high speeds over-the-air(~ 100Mbps) when connected to a 4G network or 2G/3G coverage.

Much alike to the previous version, GT-B3730 is based upon Samsung’s proprietary Kalmia Chip and supports a frequency band of 2.6 GHz fully complaint with 3GPP LTE. This GT-B3730 LTE USB dongle not only supports 3G on 2100MHz but also 2G/EDGE on 900MHz/1800MHz as well. Supporting Windows, Mac OX X 10.5 and 10.6, this modem provides a maximum upload/download speed of 100/50 Mbps for 4G users wherein 3G and 2G users get 17/5.7Mbps and up to 296Kbps respectively.

The GT-B3730 LTE USB Dongle is expected to hit the market in the first half of 2010. So get ready to grab one!
