Samsung N230 Netbook Boasts 13.5 Hours Battery Life and Features Atom N450 or N470 CPU

The new Samsung N230 Netbook has been recently launched with some striking features. Before we delve into the features of this model, the most significant part of this Model N230 is its long battery life. Samsung claims that this Netbook battery can last for 13.5 hours on a single charge. It is really amazing about the model N230.

Samsung N230 Netbook is powered by Intel Atom N450 or N470 CPU and comes in 10.1 inch screen with 1024×600 resolutions. Further this model includes 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and weighs around 2.2 pounds. However Samsung in their press release has emphasized about the efficient LED display and proprietary “Enhanced Battery Life” (EBL) solutions.

The point to note here is, N230 Netbook has a battery life of 7 hours with the standard battery. And the users can enjoy the 13.5 hour only when the optional 65 watt hour long life battery. But Samsung has not yet revealed whether this additional Battery will make any difference in the weight of the notebook. Sources say that so far no notebook with extended battery had provided runtime some where close to this model. Samsung N230 Netbook cost $400 USD and is now available in the US.
