Sony DPF-A710, DPF-D810, DPF-D1020 Digital Photo Frames Feature Auto-orientation Sensor and Remote Control

Sony India has launched three new digital photo frames, rounding out its S-Frame brand. Launched ahead of the festive season, the three products – DPF-A710 (priced at Rs 3,990), DPF-D810 (Rs.5,990) and DPF-D1020 (Rs.8,990) are aimed at capturing the imagination of shoppers looking for gifting options. Seeking to add a utility element, these frames feature an on-demand clock/ calendar. They come with a built-in auto-orientation sensor allowing users to position the frame vertically or horizontally as per space availability and personal choice. Here’s a closer look at the three frames.

Sony DPF-A710 Digital photo Frame

The frame features a 7-inch display with 480 x 234 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. It comes with 128 MB internal memory capable of storing up to 250 pictures. The same can be connected to a computer with a USB cable for easy transfer of photos. The LED-backlight also helps save energy.

Sony DPF-D810 Digital photo Frame

This frame features a an 8-inch LCD screen and a SVGA display with 800 X 600 resolution. It has 128 MB of memory and additionally supports portable USB device.

Sony DPF-D1020 Digital photo Frame

This is the most sophisticated of the three models and flaunts a 10-inch LCD screen and 800X 480 resolution. It comes with 2 GB internal memory, capable of storing as many as 4000 pictures. It offers SD video and music playback and is equipped with a mono speaker.

All the models come with a remote control and has multiple card slots to support compatibility with Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, SD, and SDHC memory cards4. DPF-A710 is available at all Sony Center stores and other major electronic outlets across India. DPF-D810 and DPF-D1020 will hit the stores in mid-October.
