Apple Gives MobileMe a New Interface, Releases Find My iPhone App

Apple introduced a new interface for its MobileMe Subscription service. With a new look and adding in a Find My iPhone application for tracking the lost handsets, the updated MobileMe provides much enhanced performance.

Updated MobileMe incorporates server-side email rules, a formatting toolbar that allows users to add rich text to emails and a new security SSL protection feature. The latest MobileMe Mail web application many new features including those that were added after the beta version went live. Not only the updated MobileMe app, but also the Find My iPhone application of Apple is quiet impressive. It allows iOS users to easily track and locate a lost handset on the go. Requiring iOS 3.1.3 or later, Find My iPhone app is a 2.1 MB download that will automatically signs the users out, remotely wipe out personal data and set a passcode lock for the device, thus make it more vulnerable.
