The latest MuscleNerd tweet brings good news to those looking to unlock your iPhone 4 or iPod Touch. With Limera1n and GreenPois0n already available MuscleNerd’s PwnageTool is expected to be available this Sunday for iOS 4.1 devices as well as the Apple TV 2G. PwnageTool will be based on the Limera1n bootrom exploit.

MuscleNerd tweeted:

“For AppleTV 2G users, the goal is for PwnageTool to cover you by Funday/Sunday (but still very limited app capability)”

We hear MuscleNerd’s tool will apply a different jailbreak method from Limera1n and GreenPois0n. A Redmond report claims “the tool will allow users to jailbreak the iPhone on iOS 4.1 with a custom firmware that won’t change your phone’s baseband. This will, consequently, allow you to use Ultrasn0w to unlock the phone and use it with a carrier of your choice”.

With three new jailbreaking tools to be available to the Apple community by the weekend, all eyes will be next set on iH8sn0w, hackers for iPhones and iPod Touches. For, they had earlier hinted that they would launch their tool after MuscleNerd releases his. A new version of Sn0wbreeze in the wings too?
