Acer Announces neoTouch and beTouch SmartPhones Powered by Windows Mobile 6.5

For past couple of days Acer is very busy releasing many products. Now Acer announced couple of mobile phones running Windows Mobile 6.5, that are separated into the neoTouch and beTouch lines. The beTouch line adds color, energy, and warmth to the mobile world and is doomed to illuminate the lives of energetic and dynamic persons who want their communicating method in a special way. The beTouch smartphones includes the E200, E101 and E100 models. The the E100 and E101 outfitted with a Qualcomm 7225 with 528MHz processor, 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreens, Bluetooth2.0 + EDR, and on top of a 2-megapixel camera. The main difference between the two models is supported networks, the E100 having Quadband GSM and Dualband HSDPA support, whereas the E101 also offers Quadband GSM, EDGE for data transfers. The third model, the E200, is similar like E100, the only difference it comes equipped with a 3-megapixel camera, slide-down numeric keypad, GPS and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR support.


However the neoTouch series, includes just the S200 model, is described by the company as a quick and influential device, completely versatile and also attractive and user friendly at the same time. These smartphones will surely satisfy the customers expectations in terms of information, entertainment and as well communications. The S200 comes with a 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen, Triband HSPA, Quadband GSM and Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon processor. It is also equipped with 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, together with GPS, WiFi b/g and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 3.5mm headphone jack and an accelerometer.


The beTouch E100 and E101 sells with a price tag of $335 and $253, while the E200 is available at $358. Then again, the neoTouch S200 is a some what pricey and is around $470.
