Nokia Expands E-Series, Launches E5 Symbian Device With Support For Corporate E-mail, MS Office, Zip and PDF
Nokia has expanded the E-Series line in India with the launch of a new business phone, Nokia E5. Based on the Symbian S60 third edition mobile operating system, the phone is targeted at professionals and users that are active on e-mail, SMS and the internet. Considering that it’s being promoted as a business phone, the model comes with the regular features that one would expect to find in a business communicator, including 3G and Wi-fi connectivity; support for corporate e-mail through Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler; and the ability to read/edit Microsoft Office documents, support ZIP files and view PDF files. The phone has a Business and Personal homescreen toggle feature to allow users to organize content and shortcuts.
