Nokia Ovi Life Tools Coming Soon For Tata DoCoMo Users via SMS, USSD, GPRS and STK

Nokia has joined hands with Tata DoCoMo to offer Nokia Ovi Life Tools which targets the consumers in rural and semi–urban India. Nokia and Tata DoCoMo have planned to launch Nokia Ovi Life Tools services to all Tata DoCoMo subscribers. If the users subscribe to this service, they will receive news alerts which will be related to agriculture and education schemes and other related information. Users can receive these alerts in their regional languages with Nokia Ovi Life Tools supporting up to 11 Indian languages including Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Oriya and English.

In 11 regional languages and across 18 states, Nokia Life Tools Service is offered. This service has 2 plans, one is the basic plan and another is premium plan. The charge for basic plan is Rs.30.00 per month which offers daily weather updates and agriculture related news and advices. Premium plan is available for Rs.60.00 per month where users can know the closest market price for three crops chosen by them, apart from receiving the weather information, news, advice and tips. By paying an extra Rs 30/- monthly users can choose their educational service like learn English, General Knowledge and exam tips.

Agriculture is considered as the back bone of India and services like this would definitely be beneficial for the agriculturalist. This services will be also useful for students from rural area who do not have access to libraries and Internet.
