Palm Pre 2 is coming. The French wireless carrier SFR revealed sketchy details of the second generation Palm Pre device, which is expected to come with a 1 GHz processor in its guts and 512 MB RAM. That’s a considerable boost from the 600 MHz processor and 256 MB of RAM of the first model. Apart from this, the hardware is not likely to see any major overhaul. Running on WebOS 2.0, the phone is also expected to pack most of features that smartphones usually come with these days.

While the basic design is expected to remain the same, this model is reported to flaunt a ‘flatter screen’ and ‘more refined design.’ We hear, the model will come with features including the access to notifications of Facebook wall posts and other social media updates.
