Samsung Launches Ch@t 322 Dual-SIM Phone with DUOS UX Interface; To be Initially Available in Russia in November

Samsung has announced its Ch@t 322 mobile phone with Dual-SIM capability and a QWERTY keyboard. Aiming to bring convenience for users on the go, the phone comes with a dedicated key to access either of the two SIM cards.

The phone comes with DUOS UX interface and boasts of an “intelligent, innovative and intuitive optical trackpad” that works in tandem with the QWERTY keyboard. The shortcuts on the QWERTY keyboard allow for quick menu access. Hang on, there are more shortcuts built in to assist the typing process, basically aimed at simplifying web and e-mail input.

No phone these days is complete without the social networking element. And this one brings users round-the-clock access to social media sites including Facebook and Twitter, with a range of multimedia options. Here too shortcuts are available to Facebook and Twitter on the Smart Home screen. While on this, the ‘smart home’ toolbar also provides automatic updates of Facebook and Twitter.

The handset comes with pre-installed instant messengers such as MSN, Yahoo and Google talk. With Bluetooth Messenger, users can enjoy chatting for free. The Auto Pull Email feature offers a push-like e-mail experience; so the device will let users know when they have received an e-mail. The device is also equipped with a 1.3 MP camera and features a USB 2.0 connection for fast file transfers between devices.

The Samsung Ch@t 322 will be launched initially in Russia in November and subsequently roll out to CIS, Southeast Asia, India, China, Middle East, and Africa.
