Microsoft Launches Windows Embedded Automotive 7, Features Touch Input, TellMe Speech Technology

Driving the future of in-vehicle infotainment Microsoft has announced the availability of the Windows Embedded Automotive 7 to select car manufacturers and suppliers in the automotive industry. This is going to be an industry-leading platform for providing integrated services for communication, entertainment, navigation and information for the mass market.

The Windows Embedded Automotive 7 is the latest version from the Embedded Automotive platform. Understanding the need for innovative and productive solutions for in-vehicle infotainment and entertainment, Microsoft has come up with the new and upgraded version of the Embedded Automotive platform that will allow car manufacturers to create in-vehicle experiences that are easier to use as well as more engaging for the drivers and passengers.
