Freemake Video Converter is a neat and an efficient video conversion program. It provides a one –stop- shop for working around with your videos and comes with a user-friendly interface. It also comes in with a pre-set conversion profiles depending on the device being used. For ex: iPod, iPhone, iPad, PSP, Xbox and Blackberry. Apart from converting videos between different formats you can also Rip and Burn DVD’s. You can import videos from video cams (avi, mpg, tod, mov, dv, rm), mobile phones (3gp, 3g2, 3gp2), Internet (flv, swf, mp4) & PC (wmv, mkv, qt, ts, mts) and convert them between different formats.

Freemake Video Converter Features

  • Ability to convert video across various formats, cut/join videos, DVD to video files, photos to slideshow, demux video to audio etc
  • User friendly interface: Just drag and drop from IE.
  • Excellent output
  • Fast processing
  • The editor feature to cut a part of the video, rotate and flip a video.
  • Supports all formats
  • Maintains aspect ratio, thus the black bars on the top and bottom are not seen.

Though Freemake Video Converter looks very much better than most of the freeware video converters there are also some constraints. The tool gives limited control over the output of the program. This can be a constraint if you want to control the size of the output file. As the tool delivers a reasonable quality of output, the size of the files is much larger than the original. Freemake Video Converter also will not enhance the video resolution, even if you have selected that option for a particular format. However, it does scale down the video resolution.

Freemake Video Converter requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 and is compatible on Windows XP/Vista/7.
