Cyberduck v.3.7 Released; New Feature Enables User to Copy Files Between Browser Windows with Different Sessions

The latest version of Cyberduck, v.3.7, is now available for download. If you already have the tool installed, you can use the ‘Check for Update…’ feature to automatically step up your existing version of Cyberduck. This release comes with new features and a handful of bug fixes. Of the most notable improvements in the new version is a feature that enables a user to copy files between different servers using drag & drop between browser windows.

  • Option to upload with temporary name and rename file after transfer is complete
  • Copy files between browser windows with different sessions
  • Option to display hidden files in upload prompt
  • Import Transmit favorites
  • Copy and open multiple URLs
  • Support for PuTTY private key format (SFTP)
  • Duplicate Bookmarks using drag and drop with option key
  • Display only affected files in synchronization preview
  • Change update source to snapshot builds in Preferences

  • Files pasted upload to parent directory
  • Uploading .xlsx or .docx documents fails with permission error
  • Reading and writing ACLs (Google Docs)
  • Interoperability with cPanel Web Disk (WebDAV)
  • Downloading previous versions of file
  • Skip directories with matching timestamp from synchronization
  • Not using proper storage URL
  • Proxy connection failure
