Moonlight is an open source implementation of Silverlight which is primarily meant for Linux and other Unix/X11 based operating systems. Moonlight 2.0 Beta 1 is released and is now feature complete. With this you can view all the Silverlight 2.0 sites. As this is a beta version you should only use this plugin on trusted sites on non-production computers.
The API implemented by Moonlight 2.0 is a slight superset of Microsoft Silverlight 2.0 as it contains a few of the Silverlight 3.0 APIs also.
