Premium versions of Windows 7 now offer you the opportunity to be able to watch all your TV shows and entertainment in one place. Windows Media Center is an application with a 10-foot user interface design to serve as a home-entertainment hub. It allows you to enjoy broadcast TV as well internet TV right at your PC.

But there is a slight hitch – the Windows Media Center does not support YouTube and Dailymotion videos. The solution lies in a plug-in called MacroTube that claims to easily sort out the problem. All you need to do is download the plug-in. Installing it is easy. Just follow the defaults through the install wizard. Once the set-up is complete, you will find MacroTube in the main menu of your Windows Media Center. On clicking the icon, you’ll find the YouTube and Dailymotion services listed. All that’s left to do is selecting which one you want to use first and get going.

MacroTube enables you to browse and search videos on the basis of ratings, views, dates and more. Other features include language beta, auto updates and appearance. The video playback is good and you can even zoom into a video by right clicking on the screen and using the zoom option. Aiming to make things more convenient MacroTube plug-in even brushes aside the need to open a browser to stream your favorite videos from YouTube or Dailymotion. So, just search, select, stream and enjoy.
